The museum holds over 50 000 original exhibits reflecting the rich material and spiritual culture of the Kazanlak region in the permanent exhibitions of the departments "Archaeology"` "Revival", "New History", "Ethnography" and "Recent History". Of interest to tourists are the collections of bone sickles (the largest in Southeast Europe), medieval ceramics, cold and firearms, jewelry and costumes. The vaulted hall displays the latest gold, silver and bronze finds from Thracian tombs and sanctuaries in the region.
