In the centre of Shipka is the Chirpanlieva House - a monument of culture of local importance and one of the few preserved Renaissance houses in Shipka. All the ethnographic materials in the museum collection were donated by the people of Shipka. On the first floor are displayed two of the typical crafts of Shipka - knifemaking and whistling. The second floor recreates the typical Shipka lifestyle of the 19th century and the early 20th century. In the drawing room with the alafrangata and the minder, the hosts welcomed the more representative guests. The lounge connecting all the rooms with the 'jamlaka', which in the warmer months is open to the courtyard, was also used for welcoming guests and holding conversations. In the 'work' room on the wooden loom, the mistress of the house wove everything needed to dress the household and prepared the fabrics for the whole house.
