Description
This is the only operating Islamic temple in Kazanlak, declared a monument of culture. It is located on the right bank of the Stara River, which in an inscription above the inner door is called "Eski mosque" (translated as "the old mosque"), which is why the old people of Kazanlak know it as "the old mosque". There is evidence that it was built in 1394-1412 and renovated in 1690.
