Description
The Church "St. John the Forerunner" was built in 1844. Most of its frescoes were destroyed during the Russo-Turkish Liberation War (1877-1878). In 1936, the church was almost entirely repainted by Stefan Ivanov, Nikola Marinov and Decho Uzunov. Two of the medallions were painted by Chudomir and his wife, the artist Mara Chorbadzhijska.
