Description
The monument highlights a mighty and angry Bulgarian lion standing on the Turkish crescent. On the back, a gently hinted tear symbolises the grief of a great loss and the memory of generations. The monument is a bronze sculpture 1.5 m high and 1-1.2 m in diameter. It is the work of sculptor Tenyo Tenev. The value of the monument is 9750 BGN, the funds were provided entirely by the Kazanlak Municipality.
