Memorial plaque of Anton Bonev Petkov

The memorial plaque is located on the facade of the building 30 m east of the Polyclinic in Kazanlak. Anton Bonev Petkov was born in 1926 in Kazanlak. His house was on Gen. Skobelev Street. In the 1960s it was expropriated and a block of flats was built in its place. This is on the north side of the street, about 30 m east of the Polyclinic building - explains one of the modern researchers and guardians of Kazanlak history Stefan Sarandelchev. Anton graduated from secondary school at the Kazanlak Male High School a year before his brutal murder. He was a member of the ZMS, and in 1945 he switched to its opposition wing with P. Serbinski.
