Description

The Church "St. Paraskeva" is located at the very northern end of the village of Enina, Kazanlak, at the foot of the Balkan Mountains. The oldest book in Old Bulgarian was found there. The most common legend explains that the church was built in the 13th century, when the relics of St. Paraskeva's relics were taken from her birthplace - Epivat to Tarnovo. This happened during the reign of Tsar Ivan Asen II (1218- 1241).
